Shibaura SX24

Just remembered this: the first time I did an oil change on my Shibaura 1540B, the filter I bought was 1/4 inch longer than the factory version. This would make a big difference, because the next time I had the steering at full right lock, as i moved the front right tire contacted the filter housing and neatly spun it right off the engine, dumping all the engine oil right onto the ground.

It’s an old tractor we use it mostly on the farm it’s very handy. It has a problem with the cylinder head(it’s not fixable), I did find a replacement but he asks too much for it (800€). I could buy it and continue using the same engine but I’m more interesting in buying a new engine. Is there anything that can fit with less trouble on it ? Engine model is H763

Needing help with an old 80s shibaura compact I bought. It did run, but now it won't start. It's getting voltage since I can get the glow plugs to warm up bur go to key start and nothing from the starter. I did notice a lose from the starter to the harness going under the dash so I reconnected it, and that fixed the very initial issue of no power. The thing did run a couple weeks ago, this is the first major issue I've had with it.

Hey guys got a 2005 shibaura st324 recently and after my second time cutting I noticed a small pool of hydraulic oil, seems to be coming from where the front drive shaft enteres the box, or further up and dripping down and dripping the square hole underneath. I haven't investigated further yet but just looking for any advice how to approach this headache, thanks

Hi people, I'm looking to service a Shibaura SE6340 4x4 tractor and am lost as to what engine lube filter should go on it. Off memory I used to use Ryco Z30 (I'm in Australia), but not sure if it was the correct match or not so would like to put it out there to the brains trust for advice. If no clear advice I'll just whack 2 x Z30 on it and it's done, buit would like to get the correct match if possible. There's no dealer in town, I just want filters to put on it, it's replacement will be here in a couple of months, so not too concerned, but this one is going to live it's life on an island and I'd like to pass it on correctly serviced if possible.
