I have an electrical issue that is leaving my Massey Ferguson 1250 dead and I can’t figure out what the problem is. Nothing happens when I turn the ignition to preheat or start, not even the horn or blinker work on the control panel. I do have a light bar that is hooked directly to the battery, bypassing the fuse box and all the safety switches, and that works when switched on. So far I have replaced the battery as I had been meaning to do it anyway, replaced the terminals and cables as they were looking a little worn, and checked all of the fuses in the box and 40 and 60 amp fuses outside of the box. Everything appears to be fine. I’m guessing a safety switch is tripped? I’d love any advice! I really like the tractor and it’s pretty easy to work on, even with my low mechanical skill level.
