Safety Recalls
On certain side-by-side off-road vehicles, water or moisture may be able to enter the throttle cable housing due to its design and location. If the vehicle were to be operated in freezing conditions (below 0ºC), the cable could freeze, potentially causing the throttle to stick, which could result in a loss of control and increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install and re-route a new throttle cable.
On certain ATVs, lack of fuel tank venting could cause pressure to increase inside the fuel tank, and also allow the fuel temperature to increase. This could cause the fuel tank to rupture, or cause fuel to be sprayed from the tank when the cap is removed, increasing the risk of fire or potentially causing burns due to fuel temperature. These issues could result in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a vented fuel cap.
