We have been gifted €50,000 to spend on a new tractor. So, we must spend the entire €50,000 :) . We are a small producer of peppers and decorative flowers with a few hectare of land. Our land has heavy clay soil with limestone rock and our tillage includes deep ripping, rototilling and bed forming. This means we need a stronger tractor than your average small farmer or homesteader. We also plan to grow our farm and are buying for the future. A 65hp "Utility Tractor" meets our needs very nicely. We also have the usual secondary tractor jobs such as light forestry, hauling, digging, mulching, etc... The best nearby option is a Kubota M4062 from the dealership. The New Hollands are the same price as the Kubotas but come with a FIAT/IVECO engine :/ . To be honest, I am a noob with such shiny modern tractors. I have only driven a few old tractors that the neighbors let us borrow occasionally.
