I have the opportunity to buy either of them for around 2k. Both have loaders and both are 4wd and both need some work. The L245dt has some serious surface rust and what seems to be a fuel issue, it will start on spray and will drive. It has new ag tires and hydraulic hoses. The l2350 is in much better shape cosmetically but has atleast one leaking hydraulic cylinder along with several hoses and fittings that are leaking. It has turf tires and one rear tire leaks. What would be the better tractor? My use case would be maintaining a long dirt driveway, mowing about 2 acres with a finish mower, running a tiller, and moving lots of dirt and compost for a large garden. Personally im partial to the older unit on a purly cosmetic basis once re-painted. But would truly be more interested in the most robust machine of the two.

Helping a family member repair his tractor. I know nothing and I am not mechanically incline so I will try my best to explain the issue. So there are two handles on the control valve that controls the bucket and the arms. "A, B" control lets say the bucket tilting up and down. While "C, D" control the arms going up and down. A, B work just fine when you pull the lever out and push it in. C, D does not work at all. If you apply a tiny bit of pressure pulling out, the arms slowly go up. If you pull to hard it acts like its losing pressure and goes down completely. Once its down it no longer goes up unless you start over again and apply a little pressure. Now we swapped the hoses on each side thinking the hoses might be clogged. A, B now control the arms and C, D control the bucket. Lever on A, B for the arms work just fine! C, D bucket does not work, same issue. After taking apart the control valve, we did not see any obstruction, cracks, nothing and the o-rings were good. BUT "B" had a square restrictor??? That would restrict the flow of hydraulic fluid. "D" did not have the same thing. Does anyone sell this tiny part and would this be the cause of the issue? I have some part numbers but I am having a hard time looking it up. Does anyone sell a OEM or a cross-reference part for this tractor? I hope I explained this enough that you can understand, sorry.
