Looking into tractors. Kioti?

I am looking at buying a tractor within the next year or two. We've really needed one around the hobby farm for a while now but haven't felt stable enough to pull the trigger yet. I've recently come across Kioti as an option. Specifically the DK45 series with a KL401 loader. There's a used one right now I can pick up for probably a pretty decent deal but it needs some work. My main problem is it's over 180 miles away from me and I only have a 1500 Silverado with heavy duty towing (9.4k lb instead of 7.6k lb tow capacity) and an old worn out 7k tandem axle trailer. Is it honestly stupid or me to think I can tow it home with that setup? Everywhere I read says the DK45 series is about 4.5k lbs and I don't know if that weight includes the loader and bucket or not. If it doesn't I'll be right on the ragged edge of my already worn out trailer because I'm sure the loader and bucket are every bit of 1k lbs which will put me at 5.5k. my trailer weighs approx. 2k also so my combined trailer/tractor weight is gonna be right at the 7.5k limit. My other less concerning question: is it stupid to buy a tractor that functions but otherwise has a mechanical issue? Potentially a head gasket situation but I saw a video of every function working, it just smokes like my grandma in the late 90s. I'm very mechanically capable (multiple different engine swaps and previous auto mechanic with several auto mechanic friends) my thought on it is it's all nuts and bolts at the end of the day, right? I've worked on a lot of American, German, and Japanese cars with other makes thrown in the mix as well as some lawn equipment but not really any agricultural equipment under my belt.
