This recall involves 1023E, 1025R and 2025R Compact Utility Tractors with the model number and "John Deere" printed on the hood. The recalled tractors are green and yellow, and were sold with both opened and closed operator stations. The serial numbers of tractors included in this recall can be found at www.deere.com. Click on "Parts & Service" and scroll to "Recall" or go to www.deere.com/en/parts-and-service/recall-information/. The serial number is located on the frame, on the front right side of the tractor, near the engine.

In the past 8 years I have purchased a 700x, a 730, a 2025r and a 758 & I also have a 485 & finally a Husqvarna pz 60 which has only been in for service 1 time because it never has problems. But the John Deeres make up for it by being in for service all the time. Nothing but problems. I almost forgot a 500 series I had but it was in so much I almost forgot I owned it. It had so many problems that

I purchased a John Deere LT120 3 years ago. I have since replaced the electrical harness, 3 spindles on the deck, front axle and the clutch 4 times. Now there is an oil leak. I have $2300.00 is the purchase price and a little over $1200.oo in repairs. And to think, I thought John Deere stood for quality.
