Known Issues
Middle PTO shaft housing cracked (possibly from impact damage), causing oil leakage. Previous repair attempt using liquid metal was ineffective. User uncertain if housing can be replaced separately or if entire gearbox replacement is necessary.
I took delivery of my 24hp Iseki last week. Just over 10 hours running and it developed a leak in the valve shown on the photo. It runs the grab arm for my loader. Quickconnect appears to be fine and the dealer is closed until the new year. I've tightend the valve and topped up transmission oil to the middle of the sight window. Is there anything else I need to do? I've very gently moved the grab arm to put the valve under pressure and no issues or bad noises. Aside from checking the transmission oil regularly until the dealer can get out to me, anything else I need to keep an eye on?
Hey r/tractors, I am a newbie in tractors. I need to fill up my hydraulic fluid, but I am having a hard time choosing what type I need to order. A family friend advices universal hydraulic fluid, but that did not help in the search Could someone send me in the right direction.
I know what you're thinking "It's right there!" but read on... I inherited an old ISEKI TXG23 E4 when I bough a smallholding. I've been using it a lot and it's a good little tractor but the headlights never worked. Now the evenings are so dark I thought I'd try and get them working. Bought new bulbs but that wasn't it. there was 0 volts measured across the bulb connectors so I though it's probably a fuse. Downloaded the user manual (see relevant page screenshot) which has a nice picture of the head light fuse box. Problem is, it doesn't seem to exist. I can clearly find the main fuse box (D) and that is apparently located near to the headlight fuse box (A) but I'm just not seeing it. It's not a particularly complicated engine and I've looked all around the bay but can't find anything with 4 5A fuses on it. Has anyone ever owned one of these and can tell me how I'm being dumb?
Hello, I have the following problem, and maybe you can help me. It’s an Iseki TU 217 small tractor. Our TU does not reach operating temperature. At first, I thought it was the classic case of a broken thermostat. I’ve now replaced it, but the problem persists. I can rule out the temperature sensor because I checked everything with an IR thermometer. At the top, at the bend where the thermostat is located, it only reaches about 50–55°C (122°F). Even if I put a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator, the temperature only rises to around 60–65°C (140°F). Shouldn’t the water temperature be around 90°C (194°F)? Is it normal for small tractors to be regulated so poorly? The tractor doesn’t have a large and small radiator circuit, so I’m not sure what else it could be, unless this is just normal. Thank you very much in advance.
