Safety Recalls
On one truck, a software problem could cause the adaptive cruise control (ACC) not to work properly. As a result, when the ACC is activated, the truck may not slow down or stop if the system detects the need to apply the brakes.
On certain trucks, poor signal strength could cause the electronic control unit (ECU) to stop working or not to work properly. As a result, some safety systems may not work, including the antilock braking system, automatic traction control, electronic stability control, active cruise control and the collision mitigation system. Note: This recall is an expansion of Transport Canada recall no. 2024-655. Safety Risks: Vehicle safety systems that don't work correctly could increase the risk of a crash.

Known Issues
Engine cannot run without choke. Requires 3/4 choke engagement for decent power. Engine dies under load when choke is disengaged after 30 seconds. Owner has performed extensive troubleshooting including valve lapping, timing adjustment, spark plugs, wires, points, condenser, carburettor rebuild and swap.
Governor functions but does not operate correctly, contributing to engine power and load-handling issues.
